Our Property Group in Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Isle of Man and Jersey is a leader in the field. The practice in the British Virgin Islands and Mauritius is growing, reflecting new development in the region. We advise clients on all areas of property: buying and selling, leasing, mortgage and transfer of commercial and residential real estate. For international real estate that is primarily for investment or fund-based, we advise on financial structures, development, property finance, tax and real estate litigation.

Our services include:
- Devising creative resolutions for complex lending and security transactions by working closely with the client and any financier
- Simplifying property transactions, including space sharing, service agreements and government regulations
- Advising on the development of hotel properties, especially those with condominium components. We provide a full range of advice on all issues: planning, development, zoning, immigration and financing
- Advising on Strata issues
- Arranging mortgages, preparing leases and settling ownership or boundary disputes
- Drawing and completing legal and equitable mortgages involving residential and commercial property, as well as other security documents and promissory notes
- Drawing and completing leases, tenancy agreements and licences involving residential and commercial property
- Applying for and obtaining licences on behalf of non-residents to acquire land in Bermuda
- Assisting in the establishment of rights involving land, including rights of way
- Rectifying title defects
- Assisting in the administration of estates for the purpose of vesting land
- Preparing powers of attorney involving land
